Nothing is set before you say yes
Analytics cookies are off when you arrive. Google Consent Mode runs as the page loads and blocks measurement tools from writing anything until you consent, so there is no window in which a cookie is set and then withdrawn. This is prior consent as the ePrivacy Directive requires, not a banner shown after the fact.
Declining costs you nothing. The site works exactly the same way; we simply do not learn that you visited.
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work, and exempt from consent. The only entry here is the record of your own cookie choice, which is what stops us asking again on every page. It stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
Analytics
Set only if you consent. They let us measure which pages are viewed and how a visit progresses, in aggregate. They are not used to identify you personally, and we do not run advertising or profiling cookies on this site.

When you consent, the visit data is processed by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, which involves a transfer to the United States. That transfer rests on your consent and on Google’s own transfer safeguards. Withdraw consent and it stops. The privacy notice covers this in full.
Changing your mind
You can change your decision whenever you like, and withdrawing is as easy as consenting. The button below clears your choice and reopens the banner. Once withdrawn, no further analytics cookies are written.
